Matrix Integration announced that Brenda Stallings has been recognized as a 2011 Power 100 Woman of the Channel by CRN Magazine. The "Who's Who" list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments over the past year, based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. This year’s Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN Magazine from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

“This year’s Power 100 Women of the Channel list honors the most successful and influential women in the IT channel – a traditionally male-centric industry. The Power 100 list is an elite subset of our annual Women of the Channel list, which recognizes the 100 most influential women of the channel based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.

Brenda Stallings has been named one of seven recipients of the 2011 Women Excel Bloomington Award. The Bloomington Chamber of Commerce created the WEB Awards Luncheon to honor women leaders who influence the growth of others in the community and/or in their organization. The awards luncheon is part of the Women Excel Bloomington program that was launched in 2010 to facilitate networking and professional growth among women in the community.

In addition to being named one of CRN Magazine’s Women of the Channel, Brenda Stallings was also honored as one of CRN Magazine's  Power 100: The Most Powerful Women of the Channel.  The Power 100 were selected based on the highest ranking women that hold positions in a vendor organization or the VAR500.  These women have proven to make a name for themselves as a leader, both within their organization and in the channel by impacting the course of IT channel history through their achievements.

Matrix Integration has been recognized by Everything Channel as one of North America’s top technology integrators. This recognition terms Matrix Integration as one of North America’s largest and most influential solution providers.

The 16th annual ranking VAR500 list details the leading producers among technology integrators and technology solution provider organizations in North America based on gross worldwide revenue of hardware and software sales, as well as earnings from professional and managed IT services.

The VAR 500 is the who’s who of the solution provider community.Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Symantec among others are highly reliant on the VAR 500 to sell their products to businesses and collectively this audience generated more than $500B in sales in 2009. Even more importantly they solve customers’ biggest IT business problems through product integration, training, consulting and services. In companies large and small, the VAR 500 are considered integration experts, trusted business advisors and invaluable partners. We are honored to compile this list and represent this audience,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.

MatrixMay 6, 2010 (INDIANAPOLIS) — Companies with strong workplace practices – rooted in respect, teamwork and good communication – were recognized tonight at the Indiana Roof Ballroom as the Indiana Chamber unveiled rankings for the 70 companies from throughout the state that made the 2010 Best Places to Work in Indiana list.

The program honors the top companies in the state, as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. Winners were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 25 and 249 employees (in Indiana or total nationally if there is a parent company) and large-sized companies consisting of 250 or more employees (in Indiana or total nationally if there is a parent company).  Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 25 full-time employees are in Indiana. This is the fourth consecutive year Matrix Integration has received this distinction.
