Dear Friends,

We have started to see “shelter-in-place” and similar orders roll out across the country, including the primary states we serve – Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio. We expect more states will follow suit. Based on current guidance, Matrix Integration remains open and our entire team continues to work due to our classification as an employer delivering services in Critical Infrastructure Sectors – Information Technology and Telecommunications are both considered critical. This mandate will not impact your ability to communicate with our team and rely on our guidance and support during this unprecedented time.

While the service Matrix Integration provides is considered essential during this time of crisis, we still want to ensure the safety of our employees, our clients and their families. Therefore, we are taking a “remote-first” approach to performing work. We have a host of effective tools that allow us to successfully support and implement solutions that not only allow for quicker service delivery but more importantly minimize possible exposure to illness for both parties.  We are limiting on-site work to cases where our physical presence is absolutely necessary like in the case of “system down” and installation of critical infrastructure. In the event we must travel onsite, we will request your team exercise social distancing (including allowing us to work outside of normal operating hours) and ask that you supply our team with needed protective gear (in the case of healthcare related work). Should you have a non-critical need you prefer our team be on site to deliver you always have the option to postpone the work until after the threat of contraction has subsided.

We are still here to collaborate, consult and share what we know. Here are a few issues we are solving for other clients related to the pandemic you may want to consider:

  • Migrating employees from corporate offices to home offices (remote access, laptops, licensing, teleworker phones etc.)
  • Ramping up collaboration and productivity tools (O365, Teams, WebEx, etc.)
  • Augmenting internal IT staff with outsourced, Managed IT Services
  • Securing and backing up critical infrastructure
